Meet the Growing Team: Alex Rohweder

Over the past month or so, we’ve been highlighting some of the new members of our growing organization. Today, we’re highlighting an exciting new addition, Alex Rohweder. Alex joins us from Munich, Germany as our Chief Operating Officer - which means he’ll be spending a lot of time with us here in California.

He brings expertise in Building Technology and corporate strategy from his 10 year career with Siemens. He is passionate about the future of the industry and excited to be a part of J2 Innovations.

“Buildings are not only one of the biggest energy consumers, they are the structures where we spend much of our time. The world is not leveraging technology in buildings the way they could and should and so we are at a turning point in our industry. I’m looking forward to helping contribute at this crucial time!”

As the new COO, Alex will use his experience from the corporate world, to establish efficient processes and fine-tune our day to day operations. He’ll embrace J2’s entrepreneurial spirit and FIN technology to help grow our OEM business and evolve the market.

When he’s not helping manage J2 Innovations, Alex enjoys hanging out, going to the beach, skiing, hiking, and traveling. As a foodie, he’s enjoying all the good things California has to offer (including our amazing wine). He also holds the bragging rights for beating Scott in electric Go-Kart racing at a recent J2 team event.
